Today I started a wonderful new project! Im making a board game! The board is made of dirt. The dirt is 300 yards by 300 yards and is outside. there is one piece (so far) and it is a little bird. The little bird is dead. (I did not kill the little bird)!!!

I was trying to think of rules. I was thinking of rules for the game for how many spaces to move. I thought maybe the player will throw their bird (dead) into a dirt patch (maybe) and depending on which weed [maybe?] grows there, that decides how many spaces they move , but I don’t know if that will definitely be a rule just a thought

Everything is going amazing which is why I haven’t had time to update my journal blog diary.lol. Sorry. The board game has so many new and good things. The bird is gone,,,I felt the bird could be a bummer, it could bum people out, so bye bye! But now I have:,, hose head, melted vanilla cone, black string, Pocket Knife from Dick’s Sporting Goods (good), magnifying glass or kalido scope (does both), package of plastic dinosaur from michael’s, Shania Twain action figure, cinnamon, paprika a lot of paprika different types of paprika, copy of Catcher in the Rye I got in High School, bell (brring! brring!), rug with picture of horse, blue string, car mags (lots of fast cars,, expensive cars), bucket of powerade.
I added five spaces. I drew the spaces with a stick and filled them with rocks. closeup photo of one of the spaces:

A stranger stumbled on my board game today. I was working on the board game and the stranger came up behind me and said “Whacha got going there?”
I said, “Board game.”
He said, “How does it work?”
I said “It’s the kind of board game you can play with your friends and family and up to four players and for bonding, it’s a good board game for friendly bonding with your friends and family and loved ones.”
He said, “How does it work?”
I said, “It is safe for ages 3+.”
He said, “How does it work?”
I said, “CHOKING HAZARD: small parts.”
He said, “How does it work?”
I said, “There will be a holiday edition.”
He said “how does it work?”

My wife asked me again today, “When will you show me the boardgame?” Patience, baby! Is what I told her.
MY WIFE SAID SHE WAS FEELING ANXIOUS IT WASN’T A BOARD GAME I WAS WORKING ON.
I said what do you mean, baby?
She said she didn’t want to think this way but she was having some thoughts and she was concerned I was cheating!
I said that couldn’t be further from the truth!
I told her even though it’s not entirely ready I will show her the work in progress right now, I will show it to her right right right now because I love my baby and I dont want her to ever be anxious or sad on account of me! No way, no how!
She said, no no no, I’m sorry, I love you.
I said, I love you too baby and anytime you want to see it, you say the word, I think it would be better if you wait till it’s finished or close to finished because then it will be the real deal and looking at it before than might give a wrong impression of what it will be but anytime you wanna see it you say the word baby.
She gave me a kiss and said, I love you, I trust you, I am going to visit my dad and see how he’s doing.
I said, give your dad my love my lovely Pretty sweet baby.

Everyone wants randomness in a board game otherwise the board game would get stale. The best board games besides my board game are things like “poker” and baseball probably, where there’s is a high amount of chance. So the tesseract will add that.

Today I hired a stranger. I forget his name.lol. Picked him up near the mall and hired him ($15) to try my board game to see how it was working with a new player just learning and the stranger scored 23 points before the first intermission so I think I need to update the weights.

I was watching the Emmy’s with my wife last night and they were interviewing Elle Macpherrson and the interviewer said that Mrs.Macpherrson had recently been crowned maxim’s “Sexiest Woman Alive.”
I made a noise like I was spitting out a drink even though I didnt have one…
My wife said, what’s wrong?
I said, that can’t possibly be correct… since I’m sitting next to the sexiest woman alive right here!

I think the board game is almost done. It’s working well, all the pieces are working in good combination with each other to make a game that is pleasurable and will make people smile and laugh and forget about the bad times and remember the good and make new great memories while remembering old ones that are pleasurable ones. We are taking car rides too sometimes. haha. I am so so so so so happy and excited.lol.

I think the rain was a blessing in disguise as people say. I was stuck in places I didn’t even realize, places I couldn’t get out of, and the structure was wrong and like a shipliner I couldn’t move it, you can’t make a major change to a transatlantic shipliner or it will sink, right?, My board game was like a transatlantic shipliner and it had some serious problems, but now the ship is gone and I can build a new ship the right way that goes super fast and super smooth and has ordeouvrs (metaphor).

I added the songs! I dug a stereo into the ground that can play cassettes from the 1950s to 1990s and then players can guess them. Here comes the duke of earl. Here comes head on my shoulder. Bop bop bahhhh dooo waahhh,,,, sha sha shaaaaaa.. koooo wahhhhhh,,,. And so on. Guess it right and move three extra spaces!!

I was having lunch with my friend John, we were eating pizzas and I was telling him about Life. He told me about Life too. He said his cousin Frank, his second-cousin, who I met last summer (nice guy), like two summers ago I mean, he said he blew both hands off from fireworks. Terrible!
That made me think thouhg, fireworks in the boardgame? Explosives? I think maybe just small ones like the ones we’d throw on the ground the wolf pack from the ice cream man.

I told my friend John I want to show him the board game even though it’s not finished because I want to see if on the right track and i dont want to show my wife if not because i don’t want her to be disappointed if its not up to what she could vision but i think it’s getting there.
I explained to him, I said, here is the wuzzle alright, you touch that, okay? If you hit that, thats what you want. When you make it to the third space (fifteenth square) (second safe spot) then you reach teaching-category. That’s Upper-Bracket. Read the book , its in the book, you know? Every player gets a book so there is no unfair advantages but you are allowed to throw dirt on the other players book or you can light it on fire if you get the matches in the 73rd space (ffifth square) (not safe spot). Vinegar is optional. Guess the song!! Here is a Mickey Mantle card, you collect that with the beanie baby and you can glue them together,,, that’s a Mickey Baby,, that’s six points. This is the Hole. (I pointed at the Hole.) This is the Hole; how much can it fit? This is the zip line. (I pointed at the zip line,, which i made more than one hundred 100 strands of string tied too two trees on the edge of board.) You can ride it but for a price. Where’s the money pieces? It’s here,,, in the inflated bopper—don’t bop the other players unless they want!!! The money pieces are pennies,which are real money pieces but also money for the game.
I showed him the mini notebook, which is where the players can keep the stats by writing the stats in pencil. Optional! They can remember them in their head if they can remember but that would be hard so most players should Write the stats
John thought it was pretty great and he said he and Sheila would like to play once it’s totally ready. He said he saw margaritas in our future 🙂. Thats John! 😂 I said, you got it my pal my great good pal.

With any creative project they say the last 5% takes 95% of the time, and that feels true. I think the board game maybe the rules need to be changed. After showing john, I think there are some problems, it was not really how I visioned. I think also maybe there will be a camera station where the players can take photos of themselves in silly poses to lead to spontaneous fun and they could be allowed to do any poses they want and it will not hurt their points. They can stick out their tongues or make an O with their mouth and they wont lose any points. They can even pretend they’re biting.

People like video components. Like when we play trivial pursuit with John and Sheila everyone always loves here comes the video clue. Everyone loves that.
And the video people loved the most was VHSs. that is old school family fun. So for the game i got a square tube TV on a stand like the ones they had at schools and with a VHS player and I bought a bunch of VHSs. I bought Dennis the Menace. I bought Jack frost. I bought Jumanji. Players can pop in a VHS and they can rewind and they can rewatch even the same one as many times as they want just like they used to . the dallas times herald called land before time “a warm family film that’s long on charm and excitement” and I couldn’t agree more.
But don’t get too distracted by the movie or you will fall behind in game talismanns!!

My wife was crying today because she was scared about her dad.
I told her don’t cry baby I love my baby.
She was still crying.
I told her, hey baby, don’t cry, your dad will be okay, he is real tough baby, remember the time he was in his car and there was a guy with a gun and your dad, what did he say, your dad said, i dont have much money, take what you want you dont scare me, is what he said, and the time he the nail went through his hand and he didnt even mind and drove himself to the hospital, and he told the nurse, what did he tell the nurse, he told the nurse “this should probably come out huh”, he’s tough as nails baby, and he stayed strong with us and helped us when we lost,,, well you know, thats in the past, way way past, but he was a rock for us and he IS a rock baby, and we will be a rock for him, and don’t worry, if you need to take time off work baby then you do that, we have the board game and it’s almost done and that will make us so much money baby, moolah, and even if it doesn’t, it’s not really about the money baby, it is about good times playing with family and friends with our board game for fun and good honest fun.
I held her until she stopped crying.
I love my pretty baby so much and it hurts so much to see her in pain. 😢

I told John about my blog and he said I should tell my readers you readers how we met John and Sheila because it is a funny story. We met when we were newly weds (both) on a cruise to the caribbean. Me and my wife were out by the pool and we went for a swim. I tossed my wife into the air and she fell back down into a big splash./ i was much stronger than.lol. We tried to see who can hold their breath longer and my wife won but only because she was a swimmer in high school. No I am just kidding she is a very talented and amazing woman and she beats me and I beat her we are both good at some things but it is always for fun. She was a swimmer in high school though that is true but that is not the reason she won , the reason she won is because she is an amazing woman and we love each other. But so we finished playing in the pool and we go back to our seats and there are two people sitting in our seats!!! At first, we were like, where were we sitting, it was there, yeah those are our seats. So i say to the man, I say hey, sorry, but I think you are actually sitting in our chairs. And the man says, what, no way? And i say, those are our seats, yeah. And the man says, no, cant be. And my wife says yeah those are our towel and that is our bag under the chair. And the man’s wife looks under her chair and she is embarrassed! She looks down the row and she says “John, those are are seats over there!” Johns seat had the same exact towel as me and so it was a misunderstanding! We were the only people with non-cruise-line-standard towels! We learned we both bought our towels at the same shop when we stopped in Saint Lucia! The towels had a flock of flamingos wearing sunglasses in the sun!
Those were john and sheila that were in our seats! Thats how we met them and we became close friends that hang out together and watch sports and talk about everything about Life and we love our board games 😀. But we have other great friends like Bill and Sandra, and Clarice (her husband has passed away unfortunately, Freddy,), and our neighbors the Sussmans and the Hills. But John and Sheila are one of our oldest and most dear couple friends and we have even talked about moving into the same condo complex for 65+ when the time comes.

In the board game you will be able to learn how to skin a fish. If your dad never taught you to skin a fish or if your dad isnt around then this board game will teach you how to skin a fish and then you’ll be okay skinning fish easy peasy. Fluke or trout, easy.Sea bass, easy. Before you can get the Special Spinner, you will first learn to skin a fish;
1. Put fish down on flat surface
2. Put knife into fish near fishs tail
3. Wiggle knife wiggle it, keep wiggling, dont stop wiggling even if you are tired, keep wiggling kife until all skin is gone and the fish has no more skin
The instructions above will be optional and you dont get points but you will learn a Lesson

I read The Kobold Guide to Board Game Design by Mike Selinker. I read Building Blocks of Tabletop Game Design: An Encyclopedia of Mechanisms 2nd Edition by Geoffrey Engelstein (Author) and Isaac Shalev (Author). I read The Art of Game Design, Jesse Schell. I read Characteristics of Games by K. Robert Gutschera and Skaff Elias and Richard Garfield (how many people takes to write a book. lol.).
The books all said different things and to do things differently. None of them talked about animals at all (no animals?). But there were a couple of ideas that i think could be good for my game but I am not promising anything

My wife was very perky this morning doing twirls around our kitchen. I said, “what got into you, you never dance circles like that but you are great at it if you did.”
She said, “My dad’s in remission.” She was smiling so much.
I started twirling with my wife! I said, “That’s great, honey baby.”
She said, “And he’ll be here for Thanksgiving!”
