Angela Miyuki Mackintosh is a writer and illustrator living in Los Angeles with her husband and tuxedo cat. A 2019 Pushcart Prize and Best of Net nominee, her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Vice, Maxim, Red Fez, Awakenings, The Nervous Breakdown, iō Literary Journal, Eastern Iowa Review, Writer’s Digest, and elsewhere. Joey likes to do it in public. Other guys prefer the privacy of a locked door, a secluded bedroom, drawn curtains. Joey likes to do it that way too, in the bedroom or the kitchen or the hallway, pushed up against a wall or shoved into the carpet, but he’s not afraid to do it in front of an audience.
